I'm not sure, but I think IRIX is like HPUX ... BSD-based with a thick
smear of SysV on top. So thick you wouldn't believe it was originally
BSD-base.

Well it had BSD-features, but so has every SVRelease ... after all
that's where vi and curses come from.
