I have 2 different Magic Cap devices for sale:

original monochrome MC, no backlight $20, with charger and battery;
includes PocketQuicken app

newer backlit, nicer MC - $40, with charger and battery and a 1 or 2MB
flash card

These were a competitor to Newton devices, have built in modems and
fax capability, and can take flash memory cards (same kind and type
that work in Newtons)...  they are great to play with and neat
examples of technology, but the Palm Pilot kind of kicked their butt
in terms of marketing and overall sales volume.  

If you like to send funny faxes to people, this is the perfect device.
They have a great addressbook app in ROM as well.  There are a number
of freeware apps, including an IRC client, for it.

Main designer: Andy Hertzfeld, who worked on the original Macintosh
team, and after Magic Cap, worked on Nautilus among other things.
