Sure, ask him to re-identify periodically. It wouldn't interfere
with critical operations, but if it goes unanswered for too long
it starts to set off alarms in the tower. Entering a duress code
would have the same response in the cockpit as entering the real
code, but would set off even bigger alarms in the tower.
Don't teach this part in flight school, don't publish it in
the paper, and don't tell Hollywood about it.
