And, I'll add, they often run "second chance" offers for the next
highest bidder.  I picked up a beautiful U60 that way. Really nice
people to deal with.

The trick with their auctions is to *not* win, but come in second.

It takes a different mindset, but it can work out well - bid a few
bucks over the starting bid, then watch the item go to the other fella.
In a few days, you'll be offered a similar system at your maximum bid
(a few dollars over starting bid).

Got a nice E250 w/2 400 MHz CPUs, 1 Gig of RAM, set of HDs for only
$660 - oh, and I'll get another duck too. ;^)

Being local, I even save on S/H (to be fair, $160 to ship a loaded E250
across country packed, no doubt, like Bill's E3X00 is not too bad).
