Hey, it looks great on the resume, and in this economy, every little edge helps...

And let's not forget the pension, full salary for life, plus a staff, free postage, and some $$ towards a library... ;^) 

Seriously, they don't spend their OWN money, the get otherfolks to give it to them... Only stupid fools spend their owm money to get in office - smart folks have others pay for it ;^)
