I think it was an announcement of a product/project. I just could not figure
what the heck they were saying.

Either they have come up with a version of software for the NetAPP file
servers that is based on Red Hat Linux version 9 and therefore "freeware".
Or they've made a NetApp emulator for RH9, so you can turn your PC into
your very own NetApp.
