Yep, its well worth it.  I'm going to drop the $250 and get AppleCare for
this dual MDD G4 before its "built in" warranty runs out.  I also like the
fact that you can purchase AC any time before the "factory" warranty expires,
and don't have to do so at the time of system purchase.

Easily - I sold my G4 Cube back in December, and the Apple reps basically
said I just had to send a letter to the Applecare group (here in Austin,
TX in fact) stating that I was the former owner of system serial #xxyyzz,
and that AppleCare contract ID # zzzyyyxxx should now belong to Mr. John
Smith, 123 ABC Drive, Austin, TX 12345.
