Actually I don't know. They were Firestone tires of modern manufacture, 
so I assume they were. The whole experience is not one I would want to 
try again, as the Model T has a total of 1 turn lock to lock on the 
steering on tires that are barely 3" wide! I had just come down a hill, 
and didn't want to burn out the brakes, so was going at that speed. The 
feeling was sort of similar to driving a modern car at 140mph!
