Ditto.

I've long since asked people to stop buying me Christmas presents. Just
having people over for a day, sitting around drinking cocoa means so
much more than the fruits of standing around in malls for weeks.

I haven't been away from the house since Friday, but I'm willing to bet
that all the Christmas decorations are already out at most of the stores.
Buy! Buy! Buy!

When I was younger, I used to be offended at people who called it
"x-mas" because they were taking Christ out of it. But now, I think I'm
far more offended at a society who puts that name on this farce of a
holiday.

Indeed.
