Cool.  Glad I could help.

We had one of these units at my previous (and last) place of formal I/T 
employment.  I think they had to run the software for it in Winblows 98 
but that may have changed.  I know that it did some pretty amazing 
things.  They used to use it for re-entering old parts into the 
computer.  Place the part on the scanner and voila.
