This all depends on your definition of running OK.  I have high
expectations of speed, while i've worked on other people's PC's that are
total dogs, but they were happy with them.  Personally, If i'm gonna run
XP, i want 512MB, but i really haven't messed with turning off a lot of
the extra crap.
