According to the mount_hsfs man page Solaris 9 also translates 
filenames to lowercase by default. I believe this is also true for 
earlier versions as well. The man page specifically mentions an option 
to NOT map the filenames to lowercase, but I didn't see one to force 
the lowercase conversion.
