Wasn't it something like a 30k file? We had so much fun
laughing at that one. Still didn't use their crap software
though.
Same thing with the ID Quake 1 shareware CD. Every game they
made at the time (and prior) was available on that CD for $6.
Companies shouldn't keep trying to reinvent the wheel when it
comes to encryption. I doubt A/W actually loses many
real sales when Maya flexm is cracked but i'd wager that this
one showed up as at least as a small dip in ID's profit
graphs.
