I don't remember for certain whether it was Patrick or Ted Kennedy (but
I think it was Ted) who equipped his bodyguards with full-auto Ak47s,
then claimed he didn't know they were illegal ....

(And of course, because he was who he was, it was just swept under the
rug with a "We'll say no more."  Had it been a mere citizen, they'd have
thrown the book at him.)
