I think really, my only beefs with the 1911 are that the grip is too
skinny for my hand, the magazine capacity is on the low side, and the
classic 230gr hardball is a tad slow and a tad overpenetrating for my
tastes.

Thanos Polyzos fixed the first two with the Para-Ordnance P14, and
Cor-Bon 200gr JHP+P rounds (or my just-about-equivalent handloads)
nicely take care of the third.  :)
