IPX's are nice, and if you drop a 2nd NIC into them they make nice firewalls.
 
 I ran an old sparc 2 (roughly IPX equiv speed wise) at a friends business serving his website, and 5 others and up to 10K email and mailing list messages a day....

LX's are pretty sweet :) also
