Unbelievable.

I think their lawyers are idiots, or maybe just trying to appear busy.

Whatever the case, you weren't hosting any proprietary information; 
they were.  I think a cool response would have been to tell them that 
you don't host it but you know that the guy who does can be reached at 
webmaster at sun.com.
