Oh the 960 seems to be fine. It's the double chip BIOS btw, but its
working fine, Im going to stick it in another system and flash it with
the proper rev if I can't get this one working. 

It's the main system BIOS that's died

Ok, does your DAC960 have the single chip or double chip BIOS?
