Well, what a lot of UniData people seem to like to do is use a 3-way
mirror.  The typical backup plan is pause the database and wait for writes
to finish, break one disk off of the mirror, resume the database, mount
the disk that was broken off and back that up, then unmount it and put it
back into the mirror.

It should be easy enough to do with DiskSuite.
