generally (but not always, by a long shot) it'll be /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0

You could reboot it normally and see what it boots from, to be sure.

After you've booted to the cdrom (with the -s option), mount the device 
under /mnt, then cd to /mnt/etc and vi the shadow file.
