I can't ever remember crashing TRSDOS on my Tandy Model IV. If stability and simplicity are the yardsticks, that should score pretty high. Of course if you include usefulness.... But then again, Star Trek references in unused OS space should count for something. Just cruising through all 64K with the debugger one day I discovered "shut her down Scotty, she's sucking mud again". I wonder if any of those floppies still work.
