It's funny, the valve cover on these are 2 piece ones, the top section
that has the writing on it is basically just decorative, and on my old
truck (it was nice and bright too) the nuts that hold the decorative
cover on had vibrated loose, and in the accident it came off, and was
sitting at a strange angle, my first thought was "jeez, it broke the
engine!" I'm pretty sure that engine is still 100%, even though it's now
the property of Travelers Insurance.

Yup, I like my wheels (rims to you :) ) They're genuine Alcoa wheels
too. I haven't pulled them yet, but I wonder if they're polished on both
sides? I've seen aluminum dually wheels that weren't, if you took off
the front wheels, and tried to put them on the rear outside position,
they were basically as cast, not even machined. I'm hoping those were
just some cheap knock-offs, and that the real Alcoa ones are machined
and polished on both sides!
