I've been working on a web site for this big tour in july - there's
about fifteen bands involved, and I have to get promo photos for all
of them, so I've been dealing with lots and lots of rock-n-roll photography.
The posed & live shots of bands have become horribly cliched in the
last 40 years or so, so It's nice to occasionally stumble across
something that's really good.
Some of the photographers have a really narrow range, and only
rarely does their particular style and the subject of the photo
sync up into a really good piece.
These guys have great style - photos, art, performance, everything:
(They're actually one of the few bands in the underground that I'm
stunned aren't a big national act.)

The photo on the main page for this band was taken by the band themselves,
using a tripod and a camera with a timer. Nice!
