You must not be checking delltalk.us.dell.com.  That's where I
found the information.  The Radeon upgrade seems to be iffy with
the SXGA+, but does work with the UXGA.  I've heard the new 64MB
GeForce4 board is supposed to work with SXGA+.  There's lots of
information on DellTalk.  The boards seem to run between $130
and $170, but you can find them for less on eBay sometimes.

Of course you can also upgrade from SXGA+ to UXGA if you want.
