Well, it is only about 5 months old.  But it is a crappy GPX model.  My old
model, a kenwood, lasted 5 years and a lot of abuse before it died. This GPX
hasn't really had any abuse.  It's not I've been dropping it, sitting on it,
throwing it around, or anything.  Sigh.
