Odd tidbit.  When i lived in the chicago area, most people related 
distances in miles, and then when i moved to indiana, most related 
distance in time.  (i.e. "it's a two hour ride to indianapolis", instead 
of, "indianapolis is 125 miles away")  Do most of you indicate driving 
distance in miles, or hours?
