Yeah, it used to be great if you could put each filesystem on a separate
spindle.  Heck, it STILL is, but usually not practical, because now
you'd end up with 9G filesystems for everything =)

Hmmm... maybe I should scrape together a bunch of my smaller disks (<1G)
and slap together a system like that.  Could be fun.  And when you have
separate swap disks (i.e. no other filesystems other than swap on a spindle)
low memory might not even be that bad...

Guess I'll add that to my projects list =)
