I just use:
dd if=/dev/dsk/c0t2d0s0 of=./filename bs=4096
Worked for me on all the IRIX CD images I finally got around to making.
But, I do have an EIDE CD reader, so it might be more lenient with the
block size than a SCSI reader would.
BTW, I never expected that duping CDs under Solaris would actually be
-easier- than duping them under Windows. I think my CD-RW has found a new
home.
