I think the point is that MS IS shipping a version of java, an older /
broken version. What Sun wants is for them to ship the current working
version. This way when idiots install XP and try the java that's already
there they'll have something that works right. Otherwise you get
situations like "Oh yea, I tried Java, it don't work right, so I use
.net now"

As I see it, MS should either ship the proper / current version of a
product, or not ship it at all.
