In sendmail.cf :
Change 
O DaemonPortOptions=Name=MTA
to
O DaemonPortOptions=Name=MTA,Address=127.0.0.1

If you're using .mc generation (as you should be!) then the line to add to
your .mc file is 
DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Name=MTA, Address=127.0.0.1')
