My friend's band, which generally has a strict vinyl-only policy
(they have a bunch of records out, but no CDs) did actually
release an 8-track a few years ago.

Those crazy kids...

I'm going to release something on wire at some point. I have
access to a wire recorder, but haven't found a source of extra
spools yet.
