I've heard rumors of a SGI made, MIPS powered ATX board. Rumors to the
point that it boots and runs IRIX. AGP video card will be the output
(specific NVidia or something). SGI needs to take advantage of all the
nerds buying the 2nd hard hardware, introduce a box liek the blade or a
REASONABLY PRICED ATX board. They don't want the low end market, they want
to make lots of money like Sun once did selling high end. But now they
have no apps, all the Linux dorks diss them, and I'm sure they are loosing
market share.

Freeware.sgi.com is definitly good tho. Too late?

No one takes them seriously. They need to market themselves. Show
performance statistics. But no, all you end up with is stupid
advertisements with no real world information.

In alot of rags, they always say "High end unix system vendors like IBM,
Sun, and HP" ... they never say SGI.
