I had a new sofa delivered today. It turned out to be too big to fit
through the door into my lounge. Oops. So I got to play with hammers and
stuff whilst I removed the door frame. Next weekend's project will be to
sand down the resulting mess and repaint. I never actually closed that
door, so won't be putting it back together again.

This also means that that doorway is now wide enough to get my Defender
through it. Which means I'll have enough room for both Defender *and*
Missile Command. Hoorah!

The test of the goodness of a thing is its fitness for use. If it fails
on this first test, no amount of ornamentation or finish will make it
any better, it will only make it more expensive, more foolish.
