Yes.
What I wanted to express is that *BSD is much more mature then Linux.

This is no Suseism, it is a general problem of Linux.
The involved parts (kernel, lilo, reiserfs) are no special 
Suse incarnations and the kernel is self compiled from 
fresh source (+XFS patch).
