[geeks] Looking to buy a new DVD player "region-free"

Girlfriend has decided to buy us a DVD player, and I was wondering if 
anyone had any experience with the site:

Also any suggestions on players... it looks like the later Apex players 
are an excruciating pain to mod... or cannot be mod'ed.
