[geeks] OS X root password????

  In the finder, open Applications, then Utilities.  Start up NetInfo
Manager.  Under Domain->Security, choose "Authenticate".  Enter your
password.  Under Domain->Security again, choose "Enable Root User".
It should then ask you to set a root password.
