Well, if the holders of said job can't think anyway, where's the harm?  Bah.  I
jest, of course.  However, I truly believe that HR departments should have
little to *nothing* to do with the hiring process - aside from running
background checks as necessary, and ensuring the tax paperwork is properly
completed and submitted.  I say, leave the hiring to the immediate supervisor
(not the $PHB) - as that person has the most understanding of what [s]he
wants.  There are exceptions, of course...
