Sure, that's common. A guy I do some consulting for has a printer on a
deal like that. Really nice printer, too. Forget the name, but it prints
with waxy ink, like a crayon. Really incredibly billiant colors.

He has to buy a certain amount of supplies on a regular schedule and the
printer's free.
