I am a fan of an obscure genre of "music" called noise. One CD I owned was
cosmic background radiation modulated to the human range of hearing. Another
trick was to listen to dd if=/dev/random of=/devdsp on a system with some
bass. I just enjoyed the soft background noise. My roommates did not.
