Yes. They make the stupid assumption that all banks operate like how US
banks do, so I couldn't just tell them the reference number they attached
to the deposit and which disappeared in transit.
That stupidity is, I suppose, another jolly good reason for not doing
business with them. A company that deals in money transfers and yet
obviously didn't even test their sign-up procedure is dangerous. It makes
me wonder what other important bits they couldn't be bothered to test.
