Ouch. That's not gonna be easy.
All of my monitors start at 30khz as noted, but I can at least suggest
that a relatively easy way to check (if not canonical) is to look in a
MonitorsDB file for x86 Linux - the third item in each line list the
horiz. freq. in kHz supported by each monitor.
There are only a very few monitors listed (~15). Let me check tomorrow
at work and see if there are some older ones floating around that might
fit the bill.
