Will take those suggestions at some point... hehehehehe TAPE.... heheheh.
It's funny because I've never owned an actual tape drive (used/admin'ed
backup/planned backup....yes, owned no). I was thinking more along the
lines of CDR my friend... I was just going to use Nero's built-in backup
your hard drive functionality. I have one tape drive in my possession...
an unknown (working or not) DEC Storage expansion box (most likely for a
VAX). Judging by its weight, it is missing guts. It does have the
cartridge loading portion on the far right, but I have not yet opened it.
Hold the flames of course... I'm just broke (I know what UNIX person
doesn't have a quarter ton of tape devices around?) and a beginner in so
far as rescueing stuff goes...
