[geeks] PDP-8 Simulator

I suppose that some of you may already know of this, but I found this 
PDP-8 simulator just now when checking out VersionTracker.

It runs on Macs with System 2 thru X.
Anybody messed with this? Can you recommend any books to get a neophyte 
started?
