Please do... the scent of cilantro is unmistakable.  You can also taste 
it...parsley is chalky, cilantro more like a perfumed soap.  Look at the 
leaves as well... if you open it up a touch, cilantro is light green and 
has a very flat leaf that looks kind of like a cross between maple and 
tulip poplar (rounded tips... tri-dentate as far as I can remember in my 
head).  Parsley has many more tips and doesn't always sit flat... 
especially curly parsley (used for garnish mostly).  Cilantro will have 
a distinctive odor... parsley almost none... or a slightly spinachy one.
