If you can avoid it, stay away from the JD Edwards One World(?) client
on Windows. It was the most incredibly bloated client I had ever seen.
At the time it required the installation of the MSSQL Server tools (at
least it was not the whole DB) along with itself for full functionality.
Users preferred the very, very fat client to the web client. I think it
weighed in at 2GB+. I was on the Unix side, so I was fortunate to keep
it at arms length.
