I don't know if you remember Tex Shivley from the gunshow circuit. When
I was a kid in the early 60's, Tex made it a point to walk most of
downtown Salem with a loaded 1st gen. SSA in a handtooled vacaro rig
almost every Saturday. Drove the cops nuts. He's probably one of the
first people that comes to mind when discussing champions of 2nd
Aamendment Rights here in Oregon.
