because of these lists i have made a whole ton of new friends.  some i get to
see IRL, others are electronic only.  but all of them are smart as shit and
cool to chat with.  i wouldn't have met any of these people otherwise (with a
few exceptions of course)

also, thanks to these lists i've pretty much avoided any sort of local social
life and have pretty sucessfully avoided making any new non-geek friends.
