Not to send you into the pit, but CompUSA was selling one for under $100
this past week - YMMV.

AD-3201 and AD-1500 are the two models currently on the web site -
$99.99 each.

I know that the 3201 is supposed to be region-hackable without a mod
chip (weird remote combination); I know nothing about the 1500.

By Mr. Steven Hill and his collection of Region 2 DVDs from the UK.

Met up with him and Jonathan P. at Rudy's for BBQ, then I went and
picked up
Amy and we went over to Steven's house, where we watched "Men Behaving
Badly"
for a couple of hours.  Then, we drove to the Fiesta grocery store where
we
let him discover the joys of the British imported foods aisle.  He lit
up
like a kid on Christmas morning. 8-)

Now i just need to find one of the region-hackable Apex DVD players, and
then hit apexmodchip.com....  or find a region-hackable PC DVD-ROM
drive;
any suggestions?
