Yes I know it was a joke... and the points are reasonably funny...
perhaps we should do an opposite list for fun... I think I can still
comment on two points... the above and 17.
Both create oppression IMO.... Microsoft , MPAA :-), etc... and
Robo-Cheney 's shadow government oil republic (with puppet Dub) do too.

It has worked many times until Capitalism and IMF/Worldbank came in and
squashed it by funding bandits whose only purpose was to slowly erode
the blossoming government... send the literacy rate into the crapper...
plant land mines all over the country... and get everyone in the country
so poor and dependent on them that they'd die if IMF/WB left the
country... (examples covered Mozambique, Angola, Guinea Bissau, and to
some extent Zimbabwe and Zaire)
Case in point...still working... Sweden and several others I'm
forgetting.
Everything else... no comment..."they're all a bunch of tree-huggin
hippies." :-P
