It's not a warship though.  The main bridge is on the saucer section,
which is primarily scientific "stuff" and crew quarters.  If you look at
the "battle bridge", it's a lot more functional for a warship.  I never
saw them to be lacking photon torpedos, got any examples?  <grin />
